RENOVATING WITH JUNCKERS SOLID HARDWOOD BEECH SYLVASPORT
The multi-purpose arena “Romema” in Haifa opened back in 1976 and has over the years hosted many different sports events. The arena is also the home ground of the Israeli Basketball Premier League Club "Maccabi Haifa".
In 2012, the arena was ready for a renovation and since the facilities should continue to be able to host Premier League matches and other international sports events, the architect was looking for a sports floor with optimal sports technical properties. The choice fell on a Junckers sports floor and the 600m² sports hall is now installed with our high performing solid hardwood Beech SylvaSport in Premium quality.
A huge boost to the sports hall in terms of both performance and look. Shortly after completion of the project the Maccabi Haifa Basketball Team returned and won the championship for the first time in the club’s history.
