Ciudad Deportiva Del Real Madrid

The Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid is the world’s largest sports complex with 1.200.000 m² of facilities. It is also the training ground of the Real Madrid elite sport teams.

 

An area of 8.500 m² houses 4 top level competition basketball courts, locker rooms, a gym, physiotherapy rooms, an auditorium, a medical facility, offices and rooms for the press.

 

For this high profile project Junckers delivered 3.800m² of solid hardwood Beech SylvaSport Premium, silkmatt lacquered and to ensure the highest level of sport performance properties Junckers sub-construction UnoBat 62+ was chosen. This particular sub-construction is a batten based solution and it also features a unique adjustable and locking wedge system making it easy to level and accommodate the flatness of the hardwood flooring to all types of uneven subfloors.

 

As part of the project, Junckers also developed a line marking paint specially designed in the team colour of Real Madrid
