Black Oak is from ancient times known as one of nature's own products made of oak stored submerged in a bog for centuries.

An exclusive oak plank floor in Junckers’ iconic through-coloured Black Oak with a brushed finish. Junckers’ brushed floors highlight the wood’s natural grain and depth through a refined brushing technique. A dark wooden floor adds warmth, depth and elegance, while the deep colour combined with an oiled surface provides beautiful contrast to light interiors and a serene, tactile feel.

The solid oak construction provides high durability and can be sanded several times – truly a floor for life.

For Black Oak floors, we recommend refreshing the surface with Junckers Maintenance Oil before use.

This grade has a rustic look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the individual planks. Extensive areas with lighter tones of colour are seen along the grain pattern and in the sapwood. Several small and large knots and natural fine splits occur.  Knots and other irregularities are to the greatest extent possible factory filled with a one colour filler.
